Gone Rogue

Last Friday was my last day at Jobster. An opportunity came up that I decided I couldn’t pass up. I’m going to be joining my friends at RogueSheep. I’m thrilled to be both becoming a full-time Mac OS X developer and helping to run a business. This is why I left Microsoft over two years ago. I’ve always wanted to be part of running a company.

RogueSheep wanted to expand the consulting business to have more database and web capabilities. They work mostly in the creative market, especially with companies using Adobe InDesign. More and more this means running the entire pipeline from a data store through publishing and out to print and web. My task will be to help on both the data in and publishing out to web. Beyond that, RogueSheep will give me a opportunity to develop several other projects I’ve been trying to work on.

I’ll take a few weeks off to reset. It feels like I’ll be working without a net for the first time. I think I’m ready.
