A little dramatic but an interesting read: Microsoft is Dead according to Paul Graham. I would agree with much he says. It’s hard to stay on top. You can’t risk too much or you kill your cash cow. Everyone else around you has nothing to lose so they push the envelope to the extremes while calling you slow and stupid.
I like the aging pop star metaphor. So if Microsoft is Barry Manilow, what is Apple?
