Dude, moving away from wordpress is not a good idea. You dont get so much customization with any other platform.

Opensource scripts are down is free time of the developers and we cant ecpect the best from them. But Wordpress is the best no matter what. All you need is a little bit of coding knowledge to super customize it.

DONT do the mistake of changing wordpress.

Good luck.

I've had good luck with Typo to date. Never had a wedge, has been running for weeks on Apache + Mongrel with no issues (although low traffic).

I've been using typo for the last month or so, but I can't say I'd recommend it. Simple things like hyperlinks and embedded images are harder than they should be, and the whole thing has gotten wedged and needed restarting several times during this period (Wordpress ran forever without a hitch).

Let me know if you find something better.
