Linuxfest Northwest 2007 has been announced. It will be expanded to two days this year on April 28-29 in Bellingham, WA. I enjoyed last year’s event. It’s very well done and the price can’t be beat (free). There is little coporate marketing yet some big names (IBM, Oracle, Red Hat, Sun) have a presence. It has an interesting mix of young and old hackers. I’d guess about half are software or IT professionals with the rest being hobbyists. No excuse not to go if you are in the Pacific Northwest and do anything at all with Linux.
