I have avoided posting anything about the melodrama that has been Jobster the past couple weeks. Many people have been asking me questions about it though. So I have decided to answer a few of the common questions as my form of comment. Of course I have strong opinions on what has happened and what it means for me. However, the thing that bothers me the most is how public it all has been (mostly Jobster and company’s fault). So I don’t want to add more fuel to that fire.
So, here are my answers:
- Yes, I still have a job.
- No, Jobster is not going out of business.
- No, Jobster is not out of money.
- Yes, the layoffs were not handled particularly well.
- Yes, the Jobster business model is being altered.
- Yes, I was clueless on what was going on so you should probably ignore anything I say.
