I’m sitting in the dark after a massive storm here in Seattle last night. Being a real geek, I’m blogging via BlackBerry. My commute home was 3 hours last night. The power went out around 8:30 PM. It’s now been over 24 hours. The wind was as strong as anything I’ve ever seen.
I managed to get into work today. It is kind of surreal to be at work where everything seems normal while scrambling to get your family somewhere with power. My wife and daughter went to my sister-in-law’s house which luckily had power. I decided to go home and watch the house.
I’m hoping for power tomorrow but it’s not looking good. One of my trees is leaning pretty good so tomorrow I’ll try to save it. It’s been a rough start to the winter season.
